1000 is available for a community service project!
Do you have an idea for a community service project in the Eugene/Springfield community but don’t know where to get funding? Apply for the Service Learning Program’s Community Partner Grant! This is made possible by the Kilkenny Service and Leadership Fund. The grant seeks to empower community organizations and students by helping them initiate community based service projects. Only a Eugene/Springfield organization that has a connection with UO students may apply. Projects can be anything from helping build a community garden, to bringing the arts to disadvantaged youth, or creating a networking event supporting HIV/AIDS information and outreach.
For proposal guidelines and an application form, please visit
http://serve.uoregon.edu/programs/community_partner_grant. Applications are due by March 11th at 5pm, and can be turned into the Service Learning Program’s office or emailed to serve.uoregon.edu.
