The deadline for ordering bees from Glory Bee is fast approaching. Friday, April 8th is the last day you can order, and the following Friday, April 15th is the pick up date. A 2 lb package with queen costs $77.

Several week-ends ago, the Amazon Bee Co-op met at David Stucky's house to build Kenyan style log hives. We'll be finishing those up probably next week end, so check back to be in on the fun. They are beautiful hives made of locally sawn incense-cedar, quite an aromatic experience. The lumber is not like what you've ever bought at the lumber yard. These boards are thick - the real thing.
