I saw some western tanagers about a week ago (May 18thish) along University St. & in Masonic Cemetery. I didn't have time to get my camera, so I found these photos that allowed copying with a credit. Western tanagers winter in central Mexico and south. In my experience, these lovely birds can be seen twice a year as they migrate through our area.
