Please join me for one of my gentle yoga classes to build strength and flexibility in your body while creating focus and peace in your mind.
Starting In Janary, I will be offering a Thursday evening class in addition to two daytime classes. Classes are held at the Reach Center on 25th Ave and Harris Street.
I have been studying yoga and meditation since 1995. In 2007, I completed a 200 hour yoga training program and became a registered yoga teacher through Yoga Alliance. Before moving to Oregon, I taught yoga classes in Madison, WI and am now excited to start a yoga program here in Eugene. I am currently continuing my training with Scott Anderson in Wisconsin and will graduate from his 500hour yoga therapist program in October 2010.
In the yoga classes, we will use the ancient practice of hatha yoga to maintain, reestablish or create wellbeing in our body and mind. We will learn techniques to release tension, preserve flexibility, increase strength and create focus and calm. These classes provide a safe and supportive atmosphere no matter what your level of yoga experience. Come join me in this amazing journey as we unveil our inner healing wisdom and strengthen and tone our body on the way.
The classes are held at the Reach Center at 25th Avenue and Harris Street every Monday from 9 - 10:15 am, every Tuesday from 10:15 to 11:30 am and, starting in January, every Thursday evening from 7 - 8:15 pm.
The classes are $10 each or 10 classes for $80. All levels are welcome and your first class is free!
