Folk Blog
When I was around 10-years old, my sisters & I would periodically create a neighborhood newspaper. We hand wrote it, using carbon paper to make multiple copies. The content was critical information such as what was currently blooming in Mrs. Hanson's flower bed, the quail that visited our front lawn, the near ripeness of the cherries in our tree, that our burro had escaped (again), or the exquisite nature of Mrs. Stafford's cookies. That is what this page especially is about. See a garter snake? Was dawn gorgeous? Did a child leaving for college stir up feelings others would appreciate? This is our "Story Corps" page, not as profound always, but our daily stories--it is part of the glue the holds us together.
